Our Story
Prism Care (NE) CIC has been set up by directors Maria Hall, Mary Burns and Dorothy Burnett, collectively they have years of experience in the care and adult education sector. They share a passion for delivering high quality care at home and supporting staff to reach their full potential through continuous education, training and development in order to provide an effective responsive, safe, well led, professional and caring service.
Prism Care (NE) CIC is a community interest company, its legal status supports our ethical values of care to our clients whilst ensuring staff know they are highly valued.
We aim to promote community wealth building in the areas we operate in, reinvesting in your communities and creating a cohesive service and meaningful employment opportunities for our staff.
Maria Hall, our Managing Director and Registered Manager, and Kelly Burrows, our Registered Manager, work closely together to guide the daily operations of our service. With deep compassion and a wealth of experience in home care—especially in supporting individuals with lifelong disabilities—they are dedicated to ensuring every person receives the care, dignity, and respect they deserve.
Our services
Our services nurture and support people at home, and provide a real alternative to hospital or residential care. Based in Newcastle, Prism Care (NE) CIC team care for clients in Northumberland, Newcastle, Gateshead, North Tyneside, and South Tyneside. Our managers are active members of regional groups for Dementia.
